Entries open for the Optimist Grand Prix 7 and the Spring Regatta
November 20 to 22 on Puerto Varas bay, with Optimist and ILCA. The Grand Prix 7 is a qualifier for the 2026 Pan American and 2027 North American championships.
Club Deportivo Colegio Puerto Varas, under the supervision of Club Optimist de Chile, is organizing the Optimist Grand Prix 7 and the Spring Regatta from November 20 to 22, 2026 on Puerto Varas bay.
The Grand Prix 7 brings together the Principiantes and Timoneles fleets of the Optimist class and is a qualifier for the 2026 Pan American Championship and the 2027 IODA North American Championship. It also funds the entry of 8 Timoneles in the 54th Argentine Optimist Championship.
The Spring Regatta is for Optimist Escuela and ILCA 4, 6 and 7.
The Grand Prix 7 entry fee is CLP 85,000 until November 12 and CLP 110,000 from November 13. In the Spring Regatta, Optimist Escuela is CLP 30,000 and ILCA CLP 85,000. Check the steps, deadlines and requirements on the Registration page.
